My New Policies and Safety Guidelines
Hey everyone, I hope you're doing well! As businesses are starting to reopen, I thought that I should put together how I will be running my appointments and what measures I have put in place to keep us safe from COVID 19. It's still a scary time for us all as we reach nearly half a year of lockdown measures. But, there is light at the end of the tunnel for us small business owners who are now gradually being given the all-clear to start reopening. However, with the risk of a second wave, we all need to work together to ensure that we all may maintain the hygiene and safety protocol. I have put these guidelines in place to keep us both safe when you book with me to ensure a high level of hygiene and reduce the risk of spreading infection.
1. Masks Must Be Worn At All Times
I will ask that clients must wear a mask throughout the appointment. If you don't have one they will be available to purchase for a small fee.
2. Wash Your Hands
As we all know by now, hand washing is essential for keeping good hygiene and preventing cross-contamination. I will be asking you to wash your hands before I start the appointment. I will also be sanitising your hands too.
3. PPE
I have taken the time to purchase the correct and most suitable PPE that will be worn in every appointment, which includes: a visor, mask, gloves and apron.
4. Sanitisation
I will be cleaning my tools and equipment between every appointment and wiping down anything I use with disinfectant. I will be using a dust extractor to minimise the amount of dust in each appointment. A new towel will be used for every appointment, with fresh couch roll laid over the top.
5. Cancellations
If you are not feeling well or show signs of illness before your appointment, you MUST cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please let me know 24 hours prior to your appointment, any later will result in you losing your deposit. I will not proceed with the appointment if I feel you aren't well either. Please cancel or reschedule the appointment if a close contact is ill or anyone in the household is isolating also.
If you're running late, please let me know ASAP. Depending on how late, there might not be enough time to continue with your appointment, therefore we may have to reschedule. 'No Shows' will not be booked with me again.
