My Top 5 Affordable Makeup Must-Haves

I thought as times are hard at the moment, I would share with you what my top five affordable makeup must-haves are for May 2020, if you have any questions about any of the products mentioned, leave me a lovely little comment in the comments section below. Enjoy! :)

Beauty Bay Origin Palette - £25.00

I have been using this palette for a while now and I absolutely love it. There are 42 shades, which are all so versatile and wearable. The palette contains a mixture of metallics, different nude transition shades and also several dark smokey shades. So you can create so many different looks for any occasion with just this palette alone. Mad! To top it off all of the shadows are super pigmented and very blendable, which is insane considering its only £25. I would, however, suggest applying a base, like the Plouise base I spoke about in my April Favourites post to pack on the metallic shadows as this will really make them pop. But £25 for such a big palette that works so well...Now that's a bargain!

The Ordinary Serum Foundation - £5.75

If you love a dewy, semi-matte, medium coverage foundation, then this is definitely worth trying. It lasts on my skin all day (around 14 hours) and doesn't go patchy around my nose, which is the area I find that foundation always comes off of first. When I first bought it, I found that it was quite a wet consistency, which I really wasn't used to as I tend to find higher coverage foundations are usually a lot thicker. But I soon found that it was better applied by building it in layers with a dense brush or beauty blender to get a flawless finish. There are 21 shades ranging from very fair to very deep and they even do in-between shades to suit your undertone. It even contains an SPF 15, which is insane for the price point! If you are looking for an affordable foundation definitely give this one a try!
