MINIMUM BOOKING REQUIREMENTS        

❖ The minimum booking for PEAK season weddings on Friday’s, Saturday’s & Sundays between May – Sept is £300 unless discussed otherwise. 

❖ Bookings that don’t reach the minimum will be charged at the equivalent minimum cost unless discussed otherwise.

❖  For weekday weddings & off-peak weddings a small discount may be applicable.

SECURING YOUR WEDDING BOOKING

❖ For any Wedding bookings the booking of the weddings date is only reserved once the client has paid a £50 non-refundable booking fee.

❖A Contract stating the terms will be issued and will need to be signed by the recipient. 

❖This booking fee is due within 72 hours of invoice being sent and secures your wedding date. The booking fee is then deducted from your wedding day invoice.

❖ Should a Trial not be taken place 50% of the wedding booking will be require 1 Month prior to your wedding date.

❖  Your quote is valid for 30 days from the date of sending, please note that I reserve the right to increase pricing , due to inflation, increased costs etc.

❖  Dates are given on a first come first serve basis.  If another inquiry is received for your specified date prior to your trial taking place a 24-hour issue will be sent via email giving you the first option to secure your booking.

❖ For large bookings a second artist / assistant may be required and this will be advised to you at the time of your booking. The artist will be chosen and secured by Eloise and an administration charge of £70 will be added to your invoice for this service which covers time, administration, issuing of contracts to the Artist and invoicing. The artist will charge the same rate as Eloise for their makeup/hair services and so will already be quoted for at the time of receiving your quotation.

 

TRIAL/ CONSULTATION

❖ The trial will be an opportunity to try out different hair and makeup looks for your wedding day.

Prior to your trial, I will ask for you to send a photo of yourself and any images of makeup and hair looks that inspire you.

❖ I will also require photos of any members of the bridal party requiring hair & makeup/ details of hair type and length and the styles & inspiration you wish for them.  At your trial we can then discuss a schedule for the smooth running of the wedding day.

❖Bridal trials take place at my Beauty studio in Brighton East Sussex (BN1 3DA). Trials carried out at another location will incur a surcharge of £25.

❖ The maximum trial time is 2.5 hours for Hair & 2.5 hours for makeup. Anything in addition to this will require a second trial at the same cost.

❖ Payment for the trial will be required on the day of the trial date by card payment. 

❖ Once your trial has taken place a further invoice for 20% of your wedding day total will be required and this needs to be paid within 1 week of trial. You have 1 week to confirm your decision to go ahead with the booking.

❖ Once a trial is complete this service is non refundable.

PAYMENT

❖ Payments can be made in cash, or via bank transfer, cheques will not be accepted.

❖  Final & remaining balances set out on your invoice is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding date.

❖  Failure to make payments within the agreed time frame, may result in the cancellation of your booking.

 

 OTHER EVENT BOOKINGS (1:2:1 lessons / Proms etc)

❖The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the overall event cost.

❖ In the case of prom bookings where a trial is being held, the prom trial cost will be required as the booking fee. The event date will be held up to 72 hours following completion of the trial at which stage a 50% deposit of the prom day cost is required to secure the event.

TRAVEL

❖ All road travel to and from the wedding are charged at a fee of £0.50p per mile from post code BN26QA, Brighton, UK.

❖ Congestion, toll and parking charges may apply and will be quoted accordingly or where necessary on the final invoice.

❖ Weddings that exceed 75 miles or / are over 2 hours distance or have a particularly early start time may require overnight accommodation and/or may be subject to additional hourly rates which will be advised to you in writing.

❖ For Destination weddings/events.  Ground Travel in the UK and in country of destination will be required as well as flights and accommodation for the night before the wedding/event (and if necessary after).  A day rate of £200 will also be charged in lieu of time spent travelling.

 

 SKIN ALLERGY/CONDITIONS

❖    It is the client’s responsibility to inform Eloise Standen before the booked date of any sensitivities/allergies or conditions that may affect any member of the booked party receiving makeup application.  Eloise Standen cannot be held liable for failure to inform prior to makeup application.

❖ Eloise Standen can refuse the application of makeup if any contagious skin, scalp or eye conditions are present.

 

TIME DELAYS

❖  Eloise Standen cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by events beyond their control (weather, flight cancellations etc)

CLIENT CANCELLATION / AMENDMENTS

In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your booking completely:

❖    Any cancellation made within 24 hours of the booking FULL payment will still be required.  This can be reconsidered under certain circumstances.

The following client cancellation terms only apply to Bridal bookings and large group bookings

❖ If Cancellation is due to Governments COVID-19 restrictions then the deposit already paid can either be moved to a new date or a refund will be given minus an administration costs (usually worked out an hourly rate) which will be advised in writing.

 ❖   For Client cancellations (not Government related) that take place

o  21 days within your booking date – 100%  of your balance is due.

o  22-27 days within your booking date – 75% of your balance is due

o  28-30 days notice – 25% of your balance is due

o   31 + days notice - no charge

For Client cancellations please note that your deposit is non-refundable.

❖ If you wish to postpone your wedding/event date then all deposit/balance will be rolled over to a new date,  In the event that I am not available on your new date then as a goodwill gesture your deposit may be refunded minus any an administration cost (to be advised in writing) Eloise Standen of any changes (more or less) in the number of people having the makeup service for a booked party.   If you have anyone in the booked party who changes their mind and decides not to go ahead  within 4 weeks /  1 month of the booked date the total price will not change.  Please ensure that anyone booked in for makeup as part of your bridal party are 100% confirmed to avoid any disappointment.

HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST CANCELLATION

❖    In a very rare circumstance and only in serious cases of illness or immediate family emergencies will your makeup artist cancel their confirmed booking with you.

❖    In such circumstances all efforts will be made to find a replacement makeup artist with details, products and photos of the makeup look you are after.

❖    If no replacement is found, all made payments  will be refunded to you.

❖ Eloise Standen has right to refuse the makeup service to clients if any abusing threatening behaviour (in any way) is felt during the booking.  Any cancellation due to this reason will not enable any refunds and full payment from the client will still be out-standing.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

❖    Please ensure that a suitable setup table and chairs are provided to your artist with consideration to space and natural light (ideally by a window)

❖   It is the responsibility of the client to make themselves familiar with, understand and accept responsibility for all booking terms & conditions.

 

 INSURANCE

❖ Eloise Standen is fully insured by Salon Gold and has full public liability insurance to protect both herself and the client.

 ❖ It is highly recommended that couples have full wedding insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances out of either yours or the control of Eloise Standen

 

 PHOTOGRAPHY

❖ To increase Eloise Standen's portfolio & social media profiles please let me know if you do not want to be photographed or you are not happy for me to use your images for marketing purposes.   Photo-credits will of course be given to your photographer.
